Need inexpensive printer for son's MacBook

What's the best b/w printer for my son's MacBook that won't break the already shaky bank? (Btw, I'm a Mac wannabe, I need to use a PC for work.)
 
I just recently picked up a Canon Pixma 2600 at the local Sprawl-Mart for $29.99. You might check yours to see if they still have any in stock.
