I was having trouble sycing my jailbroken iphone (Apple doesn't know that ) I also have appsync (I use it becuase my beta testing provisioned iphone was replaced by apple). THey had me use an application called capture data on my mac while I synced my iphone. Will it pick up the app sync?

Why wouldn't you do a DFU restore and setup as new before using Apple support. That was pretty dumb.

It could be a day such as today. You will be walking down the street. Someone will pull up, someone you know, maybe even someone you trust. That person will offer you a ride.

That is how it will happen.

Jobs wears black for a reason you know and isn't because he is dressing ahead for his funeral.

He's a ninja. Spread tin cans around your room with tin cans on them strung all about. Maybe get a good watch dog too that will bark.

If I where I'd remove the jailbreak stuff, DFU restore and setup as new and uninstall any jailbreak stuff on your machine and play dumb if they accuse you and offer to let them check again.

Then set your machine on fire to be sure. It's the only way.

Congratulations. You will no longer be able to get a mortgage, credit card or loan on a car... your house will be re-possessed and Steve Jobs will slap you with an old fish.

too proud to beg, too honest to steal..........

If this doesn't make any sense, don't worry, nothing in this thread has so far:D

Once upon a time, a young lad was born without a belly button. In its place was a silver screw.

All the doctors told his mother that there was nothing they could do. Like it or not, he was stuck with it ......

    He was screwed.

All the years of growing up were real tough on him, as all who saw the screw made fun of him. He avoided ever leaving his house... thus, he never made any friends.

One day, a mysterious stranger saw his belly and told him of a Swami in Tibet who could get rid of the screw for him.

He was thrilled. The next day, he took all of his life's savings and bought a ticket to Nepal .

After several days of climbing up steep cliffs, he came upon a large Monastery. The Swami knew exactly why he had come. The screwy guy was told to sleep in the highest tower of the Monastery and the following day when he awoke, the screw would have been removed. The man immediately went to the room and fell asleep.

During the night while he slept, a purple fog floated in an open window. In the mist floated a solid silver screwdriver. In just moments, the screwdriver removed the screw and disappeared out the window.

The next morning when the man awoke, he saw the silver screw laying on the pillow next to him. Reaching down, he felt his navel, and there was no screw there!

Jubilant, he leaped out of bed...... and his butt fell off.

The moral to this is -

'Don't screw around with things you don't understand... you could lose your ASS.'

    Ugh

Dude, just restore. If Apple doesn't know it was jailbroken they can't say your warranty is void.
How does this fool get all these replies while I post a genuine question and get nothing…

I always thought I was the only one who believed your butt will fall off if you pull your belly button out!?!

I think the problem is that he has already sent the info to apple.... info that was collected while his phone was jailbroken.

If you like people can come and post ridiculous/unhelpful comments on your thread too.... because that's all this guy has had so far :p

Umm nothing has answered my actual question... but these are interesting too so I don't mind. Apple's engineers still haven't called.
