Hello,

My HDD recently broke down in my macbook pro which bought in june for kilo 2011.

My question is which HDD should I buy?
I have been looking at the WD Blue WD3200LPVX 320 GB.

My biggest concern is that it's somewhat "cheap" and I dont feel like I need a super fast SSD

Thanks in advance!

Why not go for a Hybrid, this is the one I installed in mine:

Unless you need list of space a SSD will be close in cost to a spinning drive. You can get the Samsong Evo 250gb for $140. The 500 is only $100 dollars more. Well worth the price.

That drive will work just fine in your Mac. Hard drive prices have really dropped across the board, so yeah they are cheap now.
