Here's a guide that I wrote for extracting the sounds from apps that you have purchased for use a text tones and ringtones. Some of those apps have some really cool sounds that would make perfect text or ring tones. Now you can get them for your very own.

I really like the playtime default ring tone. But I never get to hear it because I hate phone calls, my ear piece is broken, and my phones always on silent. :p

I extracted the sound clips from the iSamJackson app and use those for ringtones. Peoples faces are priceless when they hear Sam coming from your phone.

You can also use the iTunes import settings to let iTunes convert the file to m4a, but then you have to delete the files from iTunes( I move them to the desktop ), and rename all of them m4a to m4r and reimport them.
