Need of Help

Hi im new here to mac also however what i require is your help, im am making a video and are in need of a particular effect. Example in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VX7Nlk7-4Qg
at the start where the blue guys are playing cricket and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpm6oI6mEFo
where the red surfer surfs and the red skydiver skydives
is this possible on a mac, if so with what programs, thanks all appreciated

After looking at both of the video's, I would say that the animation in the second would be very do able in Motion. As for the first, I think that could even be done with FCP.
