Need Power Supply For 08 makbook 13"

Hi

Power my power supply for my macbook died and I need to get a new one. There are a number of 3rd party ones on ebay.They all sell for MUCH less than the 79$ apple one. I need to know what exactly I need to get. 60 watts??? 85 watts?? Ect?????

You should buy the 60W Apple Adapter. The MagSafe connector is not licensed for third-party construction, so if you buy one you're not getting the real (read: safe) thing.

MacBooks come with 60W MagSafe but 85W will work too

So Apple subcontacts magsafe for the supplies? But then (obviously) does not approve license of thier product under the magsafe name?

Any way,,,,60 but 85 "works"
