need professional quickpwn advice

Just bought my 3G and am using an ATT contract. I am in the process of Jailbreaking and have a quick question. I am jb'ing on my windows machine using Quickpwn (I am afraid of locking up my MBP's keyboard and mouse). Should I be good to go once I complete JB'ing. Specifically, will I have any problems with 10.5.6 if I connect my iphone to my mac? I hear a lot of people talking about using a usb hub to jailbreak, and also having to go to 10.5.5 then back to 10.5.6. If I use Quickpwn and successfully JB I shouldn't have problems when syncing with my MBP, right?

The only problem with 10.5.6 is putting the phone in DFU mode, everything else works fine.

Thanks! I took a leap of faith and connected with an old usb hub and it worked fine, no automator scripts needed. Woohoo!😀

The problem with the Keyboards and Mice was with the software DFU fix for 10.5.6.
You shouldn't be worried about it.
