Need some advice for new mac user

I am going to be buying the new macbook($1300) during thanksgiving break

I will be connecting it to my 24'' monitor on my desk and using it pretty much as a desktop.

So i need some advice on a keyboard and mouse that will work.

I currently have a pc and i am using a logitech mx3200 mouse and keyboard combo for my desktop pc . I really dont want to spend that much money on a keybaord and mouse that will work with the laptop because ill be spending a crap load of money on the laptop itself

Anyone know if my keyboard/mouse will work with a macbook, and do you know of a good cheap combo to buy

logitech doesn't support it for mac. sorry.

as for your monitor, make sure that you buy the adapter appropriate to your monitor.

it should work fine I never have never heard of anyone that had a problem with keyboards and mice

I know about the adapter. I need the minidisplay port to dvi thing

it should work and for me being new to mac i have two of these really cheapo mice and i wondered if they would work with mac and i plugged it in and it workt.think it was like 4£ lol.
