Don't step into the kawoosh...
I am kinda stuck trying to figure out my homework. I would go to the professor but there office hours have not started yet, so i was hoping someone here could help me out.

We are studying Operations on Power Series. I am not sure how to explain what we are studing but i will try to give you an example.

we have to: find the power series representation for f(x) and specify the radius of convergence. Each is somehow related to a geometric series.

Code:
f(x) = [U] 1 [/U]
      (1+x)2

This is an example of you we have to do but i am not even sure were to begin. I guess i dont understand the whole concept behind how this stuff is done.

If anyone can help it is greatly appreciated!!

Well I am not sure how to do that math, so instead, i will referr you to this site: Dr Math. Excellent way to get the info you need. Helped me numerous times. :)
