Hi, both the atv2's in my house will not connect to the internet, it connects to wifi and will not connect to the internet. I have been on hold for 20 minutes with ATT uverse tech support to get help. I have configured the ip/tcp and have also done ethernet, and tried wifi. None of these are working. The Ip on the apple tv network page is DCHP 169....... and the DNS and Router adresses are blank.

Thanks!

it sounds like DHCP is not responding correctly. IIRC, 169... is a 'self assigned' address that a DHCP client will assume when it doesn't get a response from the DHCP server (normally your router).

So what does work? laptop or desktop connected via wifi? via ethernet? iPhone or iPad? How many devices are currently connected (sometimes a router will have a max number of DHCP addresses it will give out).
