I'm doing a pet project that involves cartoons that look like this:
www.monkeehub.com

If you know of any other websites or books that i could reference or help me draw characters please let me know (it would save my life)

What I'm really in search for is a book that has a ton of examples of cartoon eyes or smiles... but I'm not sure that even exists.🙂

For loads of general random stuff, http://animationarchive.org/ might be interesting as far as online goes (perhaps try the instruction link).

There are model books for (real human) facial expressions around, maybe something like that would help if you're just not sure how a particular feeling might look.
