I'm new here and new to the world of Apple. So here goes.
My wife just bought an iPad and I synced it on my Gateway notebook (had to download iTunes, didn't have it or any media on the computer) created and used here AppleID. A couple weeks after this I bought a new MacBookPro. I set up user accounts for her and me. I also created an AppleID for my iTuens under my folder, I moved the iTunes media folder to the shared users folder so we can both share all the same media. I changed the path in prefrences in the advance section under both users. Did I do all this correctly?
The problem is that now I'm trying to sync her iPad with the new Mac and it says synce complete, but none of the music shows on the iPad (purchased or ripped either one). What is wrong and how do I fix it. I'm loving the change over by the way, just learning how everthing works is frustrating.
