So I'm currently a PC user who is planning on switching to the 15" MBP base model.

Once I make the switch from PC to MBP what is the best way for me to transfer my 2TBs of NTFS data from my PC onto FAT32 formatted HDD's I plan to buy for my MBP?

Also I'm looking into buying a DROBO or something similar for my home office instead of running multiple external drives. I've read mixed reviews on the 4 bay DROBO. What other alternatives for mass storage/ backup are out there?
( trying to stay on the cheaper side of things)

Thanks in advance!

Just plug the drives in and you should be able to transfer everything with no problem. The Mac can read the NTFS and write onto the FAT32. It will take some time, but it will get done.

As for the DROBO, I don't know anything, sorry.
