Hi there,

I hope someone can help me here.

I'm looking to set some virtual hosts up in Terminal.

I'm accessing the set up fine (sudo nano /private/etc/hosts)

But I can't figure out what I need to do in order to enter IP addresses and URL's. Can anyone help me? None of the HotKeys listed at the bottom of the screen seem to give me what I want.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help

As you indicated, do sudo nano /private/etc/hosts in Terminal and supply your password if requested to do so.

Use down-arrow key to move cursor to below existing lines, and then type in what you want to add. Press control-o to save (ie, WriteOut) and then control-x to exit.
