Need some help

So everyone is asking what i want for my b-day and x-mas (i'm one of the "lucky" ones) and i think i want something for my Core Duo. i've already upgraded my RAM, so i guess i'm looking for some good suggestions, and and all will be greatly appreciated .

I think an external keyboard+mouse would be good, and if that doesn't do it, how about a new printer or something? Do you like particular software? Did you ever wish you had particular software?

I thought USB 2.0 transfered faster than firewire.

Nope. Firewire can maintain a more constant speed, while USB will drop off after a few moments. This becomes apparent with even medium-sized transfers (like my old iPod's music). The Firewire can usually shave off a good chunk of time, even with transfers as small as 100MB.

That's a sweet drive and would look great with your laptop! I might be inclined to go with firewire.
