iPad Pro Need some opinions on a iPad trade

Ok someone wants to trade me a MacBook Pro 2020 base model with the quad core 1.4 ghz 256 gb 8gb ram for my old iPad Pro 2021 256 gb with Magic Keyboard. Do yall think that’s a good trade or no. Opinions please. I’m getting rid of my iPad because I have the new iPad Pro.

Your iPad is an M1 right? if so, I would probably not trade it for that MacBook, which sounds like it’s an intel model. The intel models have likely depreciated significantly since the M series was launched, and you could probably get much better value by selling your old iPad. If you are needing a MacBook Pro, i think you would still come out ahead selling your old iPad and looking at some refurbished M1 MacBooks.

Looking at prices online, looks like your iPad is worth a little more than the 2020 MacBook Pro base model. 🤔 Seems like it's not a great trade for you.

My friend traded her 2020 13 inch MacBook pro 256 GB in great condition for a new 13 inch MacBook Air recently. Apple gave her 380 dollars toward the trade. I traded my iPad M1 12.9 inch Pro 256 GB in great condition for a M4 13 inch iPad Pro and got 510 dollars from Apple toward the trade.
