I'm trying to look up which RAM my friend needs for his Macbook pro. If I go to about this mac it says - 2.16 ghz intel core 2 duo, 1 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram.

I believe he can max this notebook out at 4 gb.

    Would this ram work?

I know it's a good brand, and that seems like a great price for 4 gb. Help please! thanks.

    My favorite RAM.

Also that laptop will only be able to address around ~3.25 GB.

yupp - assuming it can max to 4. i thought it was 3 myself..

for the record, crucial.com offer a specification tool that will match the exact RAM for your machine.

If you had gone to Kington's site, you could have verified this. Yes, it is the correct part and a good price.

Problem is Crucial only showed a 2GB kit.

That machine can handle 2GB per slot (2 slots total) according to Crucial.

    Why is that? It's a 64-bit chip.
