Need some real life opinions. 2.0 vs 2.4 GHz Macbook

it is very clear now that the 2.4 is a waste. Gimmick if you will. I suggest if your going for the 2.4, then what you really want is a MBP.

I got the 2.4 for the backlit keyboard. I would have opted for a 13" MBP. I don't want to lug around a 15" laptop. That's a problem with Apple's lineup at present - I can't get any of the systems that I would really like. (Let's not even start on the midrange tower ).

And I got 4 GB RAM. It's there if I need it; if I don't need it I don't care. It wasn't that much extra cost.

I'm sure you have all seen people swear by the backlite keyboard. Personally I don't see why. Tested under my jacket. That screen is enough to lite the keyboard up on its own. You don't need it, or maybe you do? But really I dont think you do. LOL

In a dark room it's too hard to see (maybe you have better eyes). That's one thing I always hated about my Blackbook, so I was very glad they offered the backlit KB on this Macbook.
