I have used Xcon in the past but it dosent seem to work with 8.1, is there something out there that fools the app jailbreak detection?

That SUCKS!!! I use my credit unions banking app almost daily and I can't do anything but view my account. Well i guess a backup and restore is in the future:mad:

Up to you but you will be stuck with no jb.
Your CU doesn't let you log in through a web browser instead?

Yea I can log in via safari just not as convenient or user friendly , Ill just deal with it for awhile i guess. Not wanting to give up my unlimited skips on pandora and no ads just yet.
Thanks for the help

I am a bit confused what a tweak that hide jailbreak is used for?

do some apple store apples detect a phone is jailbroken and not run as intended?

Correct.
There's some apps that will detect a JB device and either not work at all or certain features will not work.
Many banking apps will not run on JB devices and other apps will not allow all features to work when they detect the JB.

Have you tried the TS Protect Alpha yet? curious if it's going to work on Tivo

have you tired searching for the jailbreak value in flex2 and setting it to false? has worked for couple of apps i use.

Complain and change banks/CU's

:p

In fairness, they're just protecting their interests. Apple secures an OS. There are arguably tweaks out there that might compromise the integrity of the security of the banks' apps, so they're just covering their butts in order to ensure a higher level of security. Regarding the streaming media, don't blame TiVo or Directv, blame the greedy media companies who require these sort of safeguards in their contracts with the distribution providers in order to allow them to stream.

I have tsProtector8 alpha installed on 6+.
As far as I can tell, it's not preventing jailbreak detection of any apps (at least on the apps for which I need jailbreak detection blocked )
