Hi, In coming month my friend having wedding and he planning to hire wedding videography agency. Before hiring I like to know details about what are the latest camera equipment are using at present for wedding video events. What type of equipment we have to check from them to provide us best quality videos.

Wedding Video Dublin
Wedding Video Ireland

Don't book through an agency! Book directly with the videographer.

Don't worry about the equipment, watch their demo footage & if you like that, then go from there!

Remember though that you get what you pay for - pay €500 you'll probably get rubbish, pay €2500 & you probably get a quality product.

Good luck

Edit: just looked at the link you posted & they seem slightly above average quality (good - but not great) - not sure what they quoted, but in the UK for that level of wedding video, you're looking at probably £995 to £1500

Hope that helps!

i agree 100% with coldsweat- it's not so much about the equipment - as long as everything is at least in hd. it's more about the videographers knowing to do their job. and having a big enough budget to produce a good video. i'd say the video in the link borders on amateurish - i wouldn't expect to pay more than €1000-1500 for this.

but equipment-wise, i'd look for somebody with light and sound equipment and at least one assistant/2nd cameraman. the best camera is useless on a wedding if the videographer doesn't put a microphone near/on the bride and groom to get those vows.
