I tried resurrecting an old thread but got no replies so here we are. Im geting back into PC repair/setup and for this I need a few tweaks as without them it makes the job much harder.

my phone; iPhone 5s

First, I have a 5 gig data plan from at&t. I need a tether app so that I can download drivers for customers on the spot, Its hard to have people give me the pc info over the phone and pray my pre downloaded drivers work. I wont be downloading anywhere near 5 gigs but can at&t still slap me with a tethering plan for tethering 1 or so gigabytes? Much of the info I found on this topic was relating to the old unlimited data plans.

Also, Does anyone have a working tweak for safari that enables me to view full web pages? user agent faker doesn't say anything about ios 7 support, anyone try this with any success, or a alternative?

TetherMe and PDANet are two popular tethering apps from cydia. I think there are a couple others as well.

User Agent Faker doesn't work yet on iOS 7. As an alternative, I use the dolphin browser from the App Store. It has a setting to ALWAYS go to the desktop site. On top of that, it has downloading has a built in option. You definitely want to grab iFile from cydia. Anytime you download something with dolphin you can view it in iFile. iFile is an incredible app from cydia. Also with dolphin, you can tap on a download link and you'll get the "Open in iFile" option to download and view the file immediately. Or you can tap and hold the link and download it to your device for later viewing. If you download it, you can also connect to your device with Putty on windows via SSH or use a desktop tool like iFunBox or iTools. I prefer iFunBox when communicating with my phone over USB. To communicate via USB, you will need to download a package from cydia called afc2add. Let me know if you have any questions about any of this. Glad to help.

For full windows just use another browser from the many in the App Store.
