I made the mistake of updating to ios 12.5.1. Unfortunately it makes my device slow and unusable. The fact that apple allows you to update an incompatible firmware to an obsolete device is infuriating. Another trick to get us to buy more gadgets in this world of greedy corporations and expensive disposable products? Anyways, I would like to find a way to downgrade to an older version. I downloaded an ipsw file which i have to clue what to do with. I tried jailbreaking my device, but the cydia impactor app will not work with this ios apparently. What are my options? Thanks for the help

Which device is it? No one can help you if you don’t say which device you’re having problems with.

The subject says it's an iPad Air, so presumably, it's an iPad Air.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to downgrade.
