NEED TO REPAIR DISK

According to the First Aid on my Mac asOS Disk and it will not allow me to access it. Therefore I cannot get into the Disk Utility on the disk. I have tried command R as well as C on startup.

Any other suggestions as to how i can go about repairing my HD?

Boot up in single user mode (press cmd+S) and repair the disk from there.
type...
/sbin/fsck -fy
press enter.

It worked, repaired the disk.
