Help please! I have found many instructions on how to transfer your entire email "mail" folder from one mac to another... However, I need to simply transfer only one folder of emails from the 1st mac to a 2nd mac. I'm concerned that if I follow the instructions for copying the whole enchilada (copy and move "mail" from 1st mac to library on 2nd mac, and copy and move "com.apple.mail.plist" from 1st mac to preferences on 2nd mac), I might mess up or replace all the mail on the mac I'm trying to transfer this one folder to!! Can anyone weigh in?...:(

Just move that folder onto the Desktop (or any other temporary storage place), then in Mail, go to File -> Import Mailboxes... Select the folder, and it will add it to the sidebar in Mail, but will not overwrite the other contents of Mail.

The folder you are looking for is also found on your 1st mac under:

user/Library/Mail/youremailaccount

Just copy the mbox file or folder that contains the mbox files you need to your 2nd Mac's desktop and import.
