man, be more explicit or just do your own research.

you said dorm, we thought college, its not a bad presumption based on the limited evidence you gave us. Don't jump on us, you're the one who's being elusive and expecting like exactly perfect advice.

you have a faccebook question mark as your avatar, forgive me for thinking you use thefacebook, which is targeted at college and high school students primarily.

Isnt this the same kid that got 2 of those D&G gold razr's or something. I smell something spoiled.

That's my week-old jambalya  .

<goes to clean it up>

Give us some more information - or check out the thread on HDTVs - then we'll be able to help you some more :)

wtf is a Jambalya?

lol - some kind of dirty rice and italian sausage combo - not too shabby, actually.

ANYWAY - howabout getting to answering some of our questions...:) ;)

Jambalaya is a Cajun dish made with rice, shrimp, andouille sausage, and veggies, very spicy.

Lexus: I didn't want to say this, but I am going to... this is not Twenty Questions. Your role here is not to throw out some vaguely-worded question and then have us all guess at what information you might need to solve your particular problem. None of us are psychic, at least not over the Internet. Enough of the freakin' one-liner responses already... if you weren't going to be in a college dorm, you should have specified where you'd be needing to use the TV.

Well does this Hotel have HD television or is getting an HD TV just for game systems?

lexus said:
No it does not.

sorry what i mean by HD Television is does it have HD cable in it, or is the entire reason you're getting an HD TV is for game consoles

Like is the Hotel HD ready so to speak

Wow. Such an amazingly detailed response, except for the fact that Eva's question was in two parts and you only answered one of them (at most).

Why do you want an HDTV? Be specific. Are you not afraid that the hotel staff might damage it or steal it? What are you gonna connect to it? Why would a normal CRT TV not suffice?

Jeez... provide some damn details. If all of your one-liner posts were compressed into single posts with meaningful detail, you wouldn't even have 100 posts on this site.

I'm thinking more like 3...;)

Well I will admit that the first part of my question was not worded correctly. However yes it was a two part question and it wasn't really answered all that well.

The thought had crossed my mind as well...I haven't heard of one allowing you to bring your own TV though.

Almost sounds like you're in Club Fed.

There are plenty of decent ~$2K HDTVs in the 37-42" range check out Shard's HDTV thread. I got my Samsung for slightly over $2K.

EDIT: I guess I'm not alone in my guess as to your location... I missed the couple of posts above

Hey, I recently got a great 30 inch Widescreen HDTV SlimFit Samsung for like 700 bucks, great television.
