Why is it every time there is a new product update there are so many people looking to post negative comments. It doesn't matter if it's a new iPad, iPhone, or iMac.

Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, but I really don't think these new product releases are so bad. I'm very happy with my new iPad. I'll probably be very happy with my new iPhone this summer.

Just saying....

On a forum you're always going to get more negative posts than positive ones. Just the way it is.

Anyone that has one that is working correctly is probably too busy playing with it and enjoying it. The only reason people usually come on the forums and put effort in, is because they have something to complain about. It's just a sad fact.

It's a place to go for anticipation, which is very positive (mostly). Then the product is released and it's all the nitpickers/perfectionists and hard luck cases venting.

I mean, why come here to post if you just got something with no complaints?

sure you can come to praise it's stellar qualities, but then your on your way.

The perfectionists, newbies, trolls, forum regulars, and the curious (myself :) ), come here to vent.

vent away.

Personally I get tired of all the complaining. I come here to learn to learn more about the products, and share what I know.

It's just how human nature works. This holds true not only in forums, but if you were to get 100 people together in real life and all play with your new ipads at the same time outside of an apple store, GUARANTEED there would be about 5 of them complaining about something they don't like about it.

No way around it.

I agree but if someone can't overlook people's comments without being upset... Maybe disconnect from the Internet for a little bit ;)

I come to forums to get answers to issues. But I also use them to research products, not just Apple but every electronic product I think about buying. I appreciate the posts that you call 'complaints'. These tell me the issues I might run into and whether those complaints are 1) valid, 2) wide-spread, 3) if there are any resolutions. It's the only way I have of making an informed decision.

If forums only had posts praising the products then how do I (or any responsible consumer) perform research? And to be honest, some complaints are very valid. Just because you aren't experiencing the issue doesn't mean a 'complaint' is not valid.

I know many on here think Apple can do no wrong, not any different from Android forums or most others. But every new device has some issues. I suggest that if you can't stand reading the complaints, don't click on the post.

When you watch the evening news, do you ever see a story that says, "Today JAL Flight 367 landed safely at Narita" ?

Res ipsa loquitur.

Negative forum posters are like an egg-sucking dog. You'll never change them.
