This is going to sound really random, but my neighbor's house was recently hit by lightning (our palm tree caught fire ), and the lightning/thunder was REALLY REALLY loud. Anyways, ever since, my Powerbook has been acting up a lot. Safari takes FOR EVER to load. It took me about a minute to get to macrumors, and refused to even open AOL. AIM is an absolute nightmare. Now, the other Dells on this network opened all of these websites quickly, except for mine, so I know it's not a RoadRunner problem. Does lightning have anything to do with a computer's performance? I'm wondering if it affected the airport? I forgot to unplug the pb during the storm... I'm thinking about heading over to the Genius Bar this weekend if there's nothing I can do... thanks for any help!
