Neon bright colors with P3?

Hello, I owned several Sony ultraportables with wide color gamut screen. I was able to make colors pop on them and miss this on MacBook 12, which is otherwise perfect for my uses. Will MBP with P3 screen be able to display bright colors similar to LG OLED TV or Sony Z series? I understand that Apple prefers proper calibration and have limited ability to make colors pop on Iphone X I own. Thanks!

No... a non OLED screen will not display colors similar (depending on what your meaning of the normative term “similar” is) to an OLED screen.

Not necessary to be close to OLED. My Sony Z21 is led and has bright colors. I guess my question should be whether Apple artificially limits color brightness even on screens with P3
