How well does NeoOffice go with Microsoft Office? Would the NeoOffice "powerpoint like thing" work with powerpoint? Also how well does the NeoOffice "word like thing" go with word?

    thanks for the answers

    I don't know about presentations.

For my school work, I have found the Writer apps' compatibility with Office to be perfect, but some professionals, and people who need 100% perfect compatibility across highly formatted large documents...

well in word document neo office doesn't fully support dynamic functions of MS word ( like table of contents). suprisingly, i found Apple's Pages more compatible than neo in word docs.

you mean Keynote? yes it's compatible but i have little experience doing presentations so i don't know about advanced things in presentations. Just weeks ago i made a presentation with neo office and it worked flawlessly on both Keynote and MS PP for windows.
