As cool as all of this smart home tech is, I cannot help but feel that there are major security and privacy issues that come with it. I know that the product manufacturers will all tout the great security features of their electronic locks and video doorbells, but have you ever known a Yale lock to be opened without physical access to it? Not to mention the subscription model many of these companies are adopting...
I'm not saying it's not worth it for certain people, just be wise with your money. And never trust any "system" to protect yourself or your family as well as you will.
