Looking for opinions on both of these camera. Looks like both will support Homekit Secure Recording which is a must. I like the idea that the Netatmo does not make you upload videos and can be stored locally but not a determining factor if one is a better camera. Thanks.

FYSA, a lot of people are reporting that they can’t stream live videos remotely using the Logi via the HomeKit app. I have too experienced this but only temporarily. If that’s important to you and you do go with the Logi, make sure to test within the return period. The only problems I have with the Logi are that the speaker is too low (can’t hear very well on the camera end using two way audio) and that there is a hissing/buzzing sound heard through the device end when streaming audio/video. Wish there were time based alerts too but that can be accomplished through the HomeKit app anyway. Also worthy of note, you can take a recorded video from the Logi app and save it to your photo gallery app using the share sheet on the video. I do like that the Logi is indoor/outdoor and has several different mounting options, as opposed to the Netatmo Welcome.

I don’t have a Netatmo so I can’t comment on that.

MY welcome camera is great. I also have 3 x Omna 180's. Welcome software is good too. I like the compact size, on par with the Omna. What is exceptional though is the night vision, blows the Omna away. I also like that it records to SD card, and also I have it uploading to dropbox, but will ditch that in favour of iCloud when it comes out. Just a shame about the heavy price compared to the Omna.
