not sure how practical typing would be on something like that unless you laid it down on your desk and wanted to look straight down at it.
yup, but it makes more sense to have it on the bottom so you never have to deal with it. Its a convienance thing.
and not to be picky, but it looks like there is a huge dent in the corner on the far right tablet.

Did you make this? This looks very nice. Submit it to Engadget saying you have insider information, it will be on the front page in no time. Also, definitely put that headphone jack on the bottom.

well, if it's fast enough, 10inch, has G3, runs apps like iphone, 32 gb and under $600 i might buy it. but the under $600 will be the hard part. looks nice though. good job.
How about a mini wireless keyboard for typing and some sort of holder to prop the screen up on an angle?
Yeah, the headphone jack should be on the side along with the rest of the ports.
The back shouldn't be shiny...... it should be the same aluminum as the MBs and MBPs.

Needs a real keyboard. There just has to be a keyboard on anything that will be used more than the current iPod Touch and iPhone.

I love the design. Where would the speakers be? and what about charging? I just wanted to know of if you considered those.

It's made using 3D rendering software, which is pretty easy if you know your stuff.
Yes I made it, and it only took about an hour or so! I have a load of my designs at http://www.techno-*********
My thoughts on the software/hardware:
I think it will be a new OS. A cut down, multi-touch version of OS X that relies much less on icons and windows. Much more of a 'natural user interface' using gestures and such. There are tons of solutions for keyboard input instead of having to use an actual keyboard.
I also assume they will include a 'swivel mount' which they patented not so long ago. I may mock up a design of the mount.
Speakers and charger will all be at the bottom side, just like the iPhone.
They could include the new 'wireless' charging docks that have been in development recently. You put the NetBook in the dock, and as long as it's touching it charges!
I think I may include a couple of ports to the design too. Maybe a USB, video out, headphone & mic port.
These things would be perfect for using iChat on the go!
