My setup is an iPad and a dumb TV connected to an Apple TV. Yesterday, the iPad Netflix app reported that my iPad was not part of my Netflix Household. The Netflix help site says that devices can be added or removed from the Household using the Netflix app on the TV. I tried to follow the instructions, but the Netflix app on the Apple TV doesn’t seem to have that functionality. I would appreciate any advice on how to add the iPad with my limited setup.

Thanks, but going through my browser, I don’t see the menu options Netflix mentions in their help guide. The help guide says to use a TV-connected device to make these changes, but I don’t see them on the Apple TV Netflix app either.

Out of curiosity, I signed out of all devices on Netflix and signed back in. That seems to have worked. Thanks for your help.

Only Roku, Firestick, and Android streaming devices and TVs are able to set the household location AFAIK.

The AppleTV, iPhone, and iPad cannot set a household location unless things have recently changed.
