Is there a known issue with the Netflix App on ATV?

If I pause a show, when I resume, the quality is horrific. At a guess, around 720p, static scenes hides it well, but it falls apart when the picture is moving or transitioning.

The same thing happens when it auto plays the next episode.

I have to exit out of the show, go back to the menu and then back into playing the episode and its fine. It is also fine starting a show for the first time. Instant loading at full UHD/DV.

For context, I have 1Gbps internet, the ATV is very close to an access point and the speed tests from the ATV are showing around 350-400Mbps. That is all fine, no packet loss or jitter, HDMI cables are correctly rated and fine, going into an LG CX OLED and the content I'm trying to play is new UHD/DV content. ATV is setup using RGB-HIGH and match frame rate and DR.

Is this a known issue with the app? All other apps are fine.

No issue using YCbCr. I believe most content are in that format.

Why are you using RGB? This will cause some content to be converted and may cause that pixelation or blown out shadow details. Have you tried YCbCr?

If you log into your Netflix account on the full website you can change the quality settings which should trickle down to your devices.
