I just bought a 2016 rMB m7 and when I use Netflix at full-screen the screen seems to flash it's brightness up for a split second intermittently. I have the screen brightness set to manual (i.e. not automatic). Is this a hardware issue? I don't have this problem with YouTube or Vimeo.

Anyone know what's happening and what I should do? Thanks.

I am also watching Netflix on my M7 rMB, no problems though
I have brightness at automatic, I use safari, fullscreen, no flash installed, no Chrome installed

I just installed Chrome (even though I hate it and it's inefficiencies) and the problem doesn't exist there. With Safari, I have no flash, no silverlight. So all things being equal, what could the problem be with Safari?

I might have a solution! I think it's a graphics card issue. There's an app called gfxCardStatus that lets you turn off dynamic switching and force the use of either the discrete or integrated graphics cards (at least this is what I assume is happening). Discrete = no flickering. Integrated = flickering. But I also think there's something wrong with my graphics card, because of a bunch of other symptoms, so this solution might be particular to my machine.
