I have the 4K, also with the latest tvOS. Maybe I just lucked out.

You could try uninstalling the Netflix app, rebooting the Apple TV, and then reinstalling...
I might try that, eventually. For now I'm just avoiding browsing on Netflix... :p
 
Try logging out of Netflix on your Apple TV and then logging in again, once you’ve changed your Netflix profile setting in a web browser. That did the trick for me.

Which Apple TV do you have?

I have the Apple TV 4 (with the latest tvOS 13.3.1 (17K795) on it).
 
I’d also like a button for “I started watching but it was ****. Stop bugging me to finish watching it.”
How exactly does Netflix keep bugging you to finish watching something? I watch Netflix using a PS4 app and an app on my LG TV. Nothing like this happens to me.
If I scroll down the matrix of programme icons I get a row called "Continue watching". Hardly an issue. I can just ignore this row :)

I might try this - only even more extreme - by removing the app, altogether, and reinstalling it... :)

Edit: And, after doing just that - deleting the app, reinstalling it and then logging in - the previews finally stopped! Happy days. :)

For me it worked for 1 day. Yesterday I DISABLED both boxes, logged out of my AppleTV and back-in and it was fine. No previews, no next episode. Tonight it is like they were not disabled. Same annoying previews and next episode autoplay. I checked my account and it is STILL properly UNCHECKED in my account.
 
Finally!!! This is great news, even if long overdue. But great news.
 
the autoplay makes Netflix unusable on Apple TV, as it gradually slows down my entire navigation until I can't browse anymore.

Searching for posts about this issue is how I ended up at this thread. Every time I see a 🔵 below the Netflix app on Apple TV, I think they might have fixed the issue, but not so far.

It’s infuriating.

You’d think Netflix would be really focussed on making interaction with their wares as smooth as possible, and not compel users into force-quitting the app on Apple TV every time they’ve watched a preview.

I suppose this bug could be part of the reason they’ve added the preview-disable feature… but it’s a roundabout way of addressing the app’s poor performance.

I’m using Apple TV HD. Does anyone have this Netflix issue on Apple TV 4K?
