Netflix Testing Major Apple TV App Redesign

I hate Amazon's Video UI. It's annoying af. But all the Streaming services UI suck. I just want a thumbnail and then click into it to read synopsis or check the casting. Mini IMDB basically. They really need to do a less is more approach.

Which are fu**cking awful. Prime might be the worst UI of the streaming apps.

I find it harder to find things in Prime than any of the others I have.

I do wish Netflix would integrate with Apple TV like all my others do. I find my self using ATV as the hub more and more.

Yea never said it was good, I’ve pretty much given up on every streaming platform as there’s not much left to watch on any of them and with the rising costs it just doesn’t seem worth it.

Say what your will but why does no streaming app beside Netflix have a nice smooth scrubber that works as it should? Do they just own the patent on that and no one can copy it?

I feel like Max has a decent scrubber. I use it to skip Bill Maher’s monologue every week 🤣.

The expanding tiles on Prime cause me literal eyestrain somehow. It’s the worst thing about an unimpressive app. That other streamers would try to emulate that is mind-blowing.

In my opinion they need to go back to the previous rendition of it. I HATE the new app where they have removed the tv shows and movies app and put it all together in one app, searching for movies and shows is now so bad I do not even browse for them any more. I want to see movies but I get 1 row of movies, one row of tv show, and rows of things on other app and streaming services on my account. It is just too busy now to be useful.

Netflix is so much easier to use when you just download the few things that they make well to Plex.
