Hi people. I have a Netgear DG834GT router and wondered. How on Earth do you turn the firewall feature on it OFF. Is this possible. I'm probably not looking at the right thing but I look on the page to control it in Safari. Hope you know what I mean about that. Like when you go into Safari and enter your name and password for the router etc... Thanks. And I have tried looking at the Mac OS X firewall in system preferences and it is not on.

This page is where you should be looking. When you go into the router (and enter your password etc), look on the left and go to the one that mentions your firewall, and then turn it off. If there is no direct link to the firewall section then go through the other menu options untill one of them contains how to remove the firewall.

Sorry that this isn't very concise, but i am away from my router and am trying to remember. I have the DG834G model though, so they could be a little different, although i doubt it.
