Neither do I.

I wonder why they did it.... I mean Safari on Mac and IE on PC or FireFox on both are considered mainstream.
But, I must admit I think it is cool. It's nice and Universal too.

I don't know anyone who still uses Netscape...
Hello!
 Is that really the splash screen they're using? Looks like someone developers wannabe graphic designer nephew made it. Ugly!

And, seriously, a web browser with a splash screen in 2007? :D

Netscape brings back good memories of my childhood web adventures, but to me it died back in version 4.something.

I like it, very retro.

talk about being behind the history, do you realize apple's safari 3 beta for windows still require rebooting of the machine? hello? its 2007, even photoshop, openoofice don't ask for that!

PS. the splash screen can be easily disabled, goto about:config, set "browser.startup.splashscreen" to false.

Oh grow up. Do you know anything about Mozilla or Firefox or where they would be without AOL?

Yes, as a matter of fact I do. I am a web browser history fanatic. (I have a web browser time line on my wall)

I know AOL played a major part in the Mozilla project as well as spinning it off as a separate organization. That was one of the best decisions ever made by AOL because it gave more strength and life to the Mozilla Suite and Firefox.

I'm only bashing AOL for continuing to use the Netscape brand far beyond its expiration date.

Tested the NN9 beta a little while back, around the time I gave Camno 1.5 a spin, but went back to FF2. Now, I'm more happy with NN9, and - unless anything unforeseeable happens - I'll stay with it, at least, until FF3 is released.
