I dropped my mac book from 20 inches in height. After that the wifi would not work. Did a hard ware test and came up with this error. 4AIR/1/40000002: 0x892dec98 I searched the net and called mac found it to be no help.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Maybe just the wire or card came loose? Dropping it shouldn't 'break' the network card.

I found one wire broke from its solder point. I re solder it in place right next the old connection. The original wire was too short so I spliced in a piece of the same grade of wire. Still does not work. Any suggestions?

Here is a picture to describe what I am talking about.
