Good morning. I recently upgraded to Sierra from Mavericks. Now, my 2013 MacBook Pro is no longer recognizing my Seagate Personal Cloud drive. There were no problems previously

In Finder is shows "?" on the side panel, next to the name "Personal Cloud". When I attempt to connect, I get the error message "Network Connection failed. There was a problem connecting to personalcloud. The server may not exist or is unavailable at this time. Check your connection and try again."

I can access the Personal Cloud via iOS and Windows 10, but not via my MacBook. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm also having a similar problem where I cannot connect to my windows shared folders after updating to sierra on my 2011 mbp. Everything worked prior to update, like you I can see it in finder under shared but cannot connect. I asked about this several days ago here but have not received a response.

Damn. I'll report back if I find anything to resolve it. This dampens my ability to get a new MacBook Pro if they refresh soon. I used the MacBook to pull files from my personal cloud daily, and also use it as my Plex server. Now I can't access anything.
