I am having odd issues with network connectivity. Approximately every 2 days my internet connection inexplicably dies, and I have to reboot my computer to get it back to normal. All is fine at the modem end... and curiously, this 2 day timeout happens to be how long my DHCP lease lasts. Even more curiously, renewing the DHCP lease manually seems to fix the problem, but it always comes back. I recently upgraded my local connection to the Internet from Cat 5E to Cat 6 cabling... if that makes any difference.

Seems to happen to me also; I think it's something with the service provider's modem. I recently had to switch to comcast due to a move and it only started happening with their modem in my case.
