network drive - itunes can't find library...

I'm sure there's an easy solution for this..

I have itunes on the MBP. I have the library and music on my NAS. If I run itunes, it says it cannot find the library unless I browse to my HD, then the NAS, then the folder share first (obviously when I do this. the MBP authenticates to the NAS).

is there a way to avoid having to open the NAS through the finder first?

Set it up under accounts in prefs.

Can I ask what NAS you have? I'm looking to get one but there are many to chose from.😕
