network help please...noob!

hey all.
i am wanting to send and get files with another macbook pro. we are both sat in the same room both running 10.5 and connected to the same wireless router ( netgear ).
when ever i find the other MBP in the 'shared' bit in the finder window it wont connect. any ideas?

The person connecting must have an account on the computer they are connecting to, otherwise they must use Go->Connect to Server to be able to enter another username an password.

oh dear fixed it....was quite embarrassing so i will; not tell what it was... 😱hehehe
