Network question!

    well were i work there are some ppl that dont like me very much, and we all share the same network via Ethernet, by just turning off my file sharing, im i safe? is there any way the still can get into my files? is there any software to make my computer impenetrable?

    Turn on Stealth mode, then the computer will not even appear to exist.

    System Preferences > Sharing > Firewall > Advanced.

    ...Make sure your firewall is on and uncheck anything in the "Allow:" box that you aren't using.

    so is this stealth mode 100% impenetrable? thanks guys!!:apple:

    No security is 100% - but this should be plenty.
