network setup problems... help!

I am trying to setup an airport express betwork for my friend.

He has a motorola surfboard sp4220 cable modem. I connected it to a linksys 5 port hub via crossover ethernet and then used regular Ethernet from the hub to his viao PC and the apx.

No Internet to the airport. At one point I did manage to get the pc some, but not the airport!!

Help?

A betwork, eh? Well don't worry about the AirPort 'til you've got the PC up and running. You say you managed to get it connected but imply this wasn't maintained. If you lose the hub, does it start working? 🙂

betwork as in theyr going to bet how much itl work or not....

youll have to connect one main computer so that u can setup the airport. once thats done and u have the bet working on one u can then get the rest going
