Network Sharing Icons? Questions.

Maybe someone can explain to me what exactly the difference between the Silver Network icons and the Monitor one's are and what purpose they fulfill.

I have an Airport. Pretty sure that Network relates to routers and internet stuff.

Where i'm fuzzy is these silver icons have URL's and I'm not sure what they do... Maybe these are only "appearing" cause of other wireless routers in the neighborhood?

Can I remove them are they effecting my computer?
