I am new to Mac, and was wondering how to view my the shared folders on my PC? With the PC, i can go to my network and see all of the computer connected and get files from them. What do i have to do with the Mac to be able to setup and see them? Thanks!

in finder select Go>Connect to Server or press apple-K then click the browse button on the bottom. . .

or. . . open a finder window and click on the network icon on the left. if other apples are on the network and shared then you will see them, you will also see workgroups for windows computers that are shared. if nothing is shared you will only see your computer. but if you are on a network with shared machines you will see them.

The first time I tried this I actually had to type in the IP info .... Afterwards my mac started to recognize the PC

For server address type:
smb://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Where the x is your PC's IP
