We have about 60 users here, all on Macs. Authenticates through AD on a Windows Server 2008. All computers are bound to the server. But there are 4 employees that can't log onto any other computer but their own. They get the error that they can't log on at this time due to an error.

Never had this issue until recently. OS on some are 10.7 but i've upgraded some computers to Mavericks and they're still getting it.

Lion Mac Mini Server - error message

I am getting an error message. I now can't log in to my lion server. Any help would be much appreciated as to how I can resolve this. Do I need to piggyback through another mac? Sounds like you might know how to solve this.
I don't have any issues with deleting the data.

Julie

I'm selling my mac and want to make sure the buyer wont be getting any of my info after doing the following.

Here is what I did

Step 1. Upgrade to Mavericks

Step 2. signed out and unauthorized iCloud, Dropbox, iTunes

Step 3. Reboot to Mac Utilities

Step 4. Erased Hard drive partition

Step 5. Chose "Reinstall Mac OS".

Step 6. Was prompted for Apple ID and password to reinstall so I entered it.

Step 7. Install finished - I am at a Welcome Screen which says, In just a few steps, you can register and set up your Mac. It is asking what country I'm in and has a world map on it.

I assume that all is set and my information has been erased and removed.

The only concern is that when choosing re-install Mac OS from the Mac Utilities Menu it then asked me to sign in with my apple ID.

Also how do I exit the set-up screen safely?

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Can't get in to the server at all. I am also getting an error message. Any thoughts as to what I can do? I want to set up 10 users to access internet through the server but can't do a thing. Julie
