Hello,
I am getting ready to get my first mac for christmas. I have a windows desktop computer running XP home. A laptop running XP home and a laptop running the operating system from hell (Vista) I will only be able to wire the desktop XP machine and the imac but would prefer not to do that, i would prefer to have wireless. I have a router and they will all be connected to the same router. I want to be able to share files between the computers and print wirelessly to the printer plugged into the imac when i get it. How would i go about all this?

Many Thanks, Jack

If you already have a wireless router then you have all the equipment you need.

As for sharing files and such. Setting that up is much easier once you already have the Mac, so that you can instantly follow any advice given here to see if it works.

It is a relatively simple process of activating the correct preferences on each machine to allow sharing of files to the other.

Great i'll check back here when i get it and give more information if i need help then, thanks.
